Eric: I meant can AAPL's book value and cash per share $amounts provide clues as to the minimum worth (stock price) that AAPL could go to. For example, if the company were for sale, whats the minimum price it could bring based just on book value and cash per share ? Intrinsic value and image aside, whats AAPL worth at the very least ?
Can that $figure be determined from their book value and cash per share $amounts ? As another example, Eetna's stock price (AET) has recently dropped below $70. A $figure which reportedly is below their estimated book level of $70. It had been speculated that such an action could attract a buyer. Similarly, whats the bottom AAPL stock price whereupon it would attract buyers simply as a result of their book value and cash per share $amounts ?
