After reading Snackers post on SH about Canada Carbon at PDAC, I figured a call to Bruce Duncan was in order to get a full understanding of what Snacker was referencing.

Duncan confirmed that Canada Carbon Inc and SGS are co-hosting a hospitality suite for PDAC, something that you don't see happen often if ever.

Obviously key people from SGS will be in attendance and Duncan mentioned amongst Canada Carbons group will be Pieter Barnard (Mr. Graphtek himself), Oliver Peters (consultant to both Canada Carbon and SGS), Richard Klue (Tetratech) and a couple other special guests from various backgrounds who have an interest in the Miller Project (my guess would be a Nasa guy named Truly, an Evans Analytical guy named Karol Putyera, and possibly key personnel from AMG and/or Graphtek and I'll add a wink, wink to that list)

Duncan said they will be demonstrating cutting edge software that has been used for the Miller Project definition ................ that will be something else to see and since they are going to demo it, my take away is that the PEA will be out by then, although Duncan didn't say that directly.

I asked him why they aren't going the route of a booth on the floor and his response was kind of surprising. He said he isn't like other issuers limited to do a dog and pony show akin to selling snake oil in the form of a graphite dream. He prefers to be low key and gather together key players and guests who are present for a common reason, to share and learn all that there is to know about the Miller Project and its unique graphite and marble deposits and what it means for investors as the company pushes forward to ultimately get into production.

Duncan also mentioned that the more private setting was partly in consideration of the threats and harassment both him and the company have received from Zenyatta Ventures investors, whereby, the company felt there was no room to tolerate any kind of classless shenanigans that the Zennanites might pull on the floor of the main venue. I believe Hoov was being threatened with physical harm by FormerTN prior to last years ROF golf tourney so I suspect that is the same kind of crap that Duncan is not going to tolerate or expose the company or its PDAC guests/attendees to.

Duncan wrapped the conversation up by suggesting I wouldn't want to miss this event as it is going to be an extraordinary gathering of all the people you would want to be present discussing a one of a kind project of common interest ............ the Miller Project.

After I hung up the phone I got to thinking, there's only one reason why Canada Carbon Inc and SGS would jointly host a hospitality suite and have specific guests attend that are close to the project in various ways and a demonstration of new mining software is being done regarding the Miller Project for those in attendance .............. it will show how the PEA inputs and outputs manifest themselves for the robust economics they will undoubtedly show. Simply no other reason to pull off a hospitality suite gathering unless you have something big on the cusp of being released. I say the PEA is definitely out before that gathering.
