Islam ISN'T fair game. Critical analysis of it is condemned by you liberals as hate rhetoric.

Re Plato, did you know he was pro-slavery? Non-Hellenes (like you) were born slaves, dumb brutes who didn't possess the minds and spirits necessary for free men. He said slaves should be treated with stern discipline to keep them servile. That was his opinion and Aristotle's too. When they died, they both left slaves in their estates. Aristotle died with the most slaves, fourteen, Plato only had four. Without slaves to do all the work, free Hellenes wouldn't have the leisure time to devote to philosophy and high culture. That's not my statement ... they said that. They both looked down on commerce too. Aristotle wanted all buying and selling banned from Athen's agora .... "it should be clear of all merchandise, and neither a workingman nor a farmer nor any other such person should be permitted to enter unless summoned by the magistrates."

What most people think about the ancient world is way off base. Education is often mis-education.
