I think the last Presidents who had even a vague clue how not to bother with the blame game and rather show some real responsibility and awareness of the real world were Eisenhower and Kennedy, especially Eisenhower with his Farewell address covering the MI Complex. Reagan did end the old Cold War game too. Obama has little clue what massive incompetence he has demonstrated by starting it up again, and with lots of extra "features" and divisiveness. History won't forget that, same with a few truly dumb moves by Bush 43.

Socialism won't beat fascism or offset it much either IMO. Maybe Krugman will save us all and call up and import the aliens. -g-
