Agreed. This is the extreme bearish possibility. For years I have talked about the possibility of this last leg down of the 2000 secular bear market. This down move would be a cyclical bear market within a secular bear market. The 2000 Secular bear market is only the fourth one since 1871. As you can see from the chart this one is not out of the ordinary time wise. I will finally know if Grand Super Cycle IV ended at 666 or not.
On the second chart you can see the count of the 2000 secular bear market with one more leg down. I do not see how any Elliottician can deny the possibility. They almost all do however. I do know a couple who have come around lately.
Of course this is anathema to the perma bulls. Having completely missed the last two cyclical bear markets they just cannot believe they will miss another one so soon. But, of course if it happens they will. LOL
So we will see. Something to ponder as we go forward.
