It is widely known that the folks who fought in Viet Nam were not given a hero's welcome when they returned. It took a lot of political work to come up with the Viet memorial. Now come to Iraq. should Obama have waited till pressure at home grew to the extent that he would be forced to bring back troops home. After all didn't he get the votes to pull those troops out. It was not Obama who pulled the troops out but the people who told him to do so. So screw the Republicans. Look at how messed up they are presently. The other day Montel Williams scolded the Republican candidates for war mongering chiding that none of them wore a military uniform and none of them have their kids serving in the military.
