Sorry for the slow response. I has to dig through my pile of IDX info. As of March 4, 1997 the following card companies had FBI certified card scanners -

DBA Systems, IBIS Corp, Identicator, Improvision Research Corporation, NEC, Morpho and Printrak.

DBA has the only Appendix F certified scanner. All others are Appendix G certified. Appendix F has more stringent qualifications.

In summary, Identix is not in the card scan market and will likely target livescan instead.
