bobby: Yes I recall as I sold for two-point $ gain on the 'eve just prior to Jobs'/Boston-MacWorld effect ! But the drama of those August events was a variable that might be missing this time ? What could they announce/demonstrate that could have the same result ? I suppose a profit for the current qtr would do it ? But that question isn't answered until mid-Jan'98. So that leaves the CEO question. Could a CEO announcment carry as much drama as the August Jobs'/Boston MacWorld ? Plus, recall that August market conditions didn't have Asian turmoil to deal with. Last week I got in at $13 3/8th 'cause I thought the price was reasonable. BTW: I never dreamt AAPL would go from $13 to $29 and back to $13 within 12 months.

My XMAS present from Apple wish:

For me, I'd be happy with a CEO that Jobs' likes and a net profitable '98.
