MINE PRODUCTION SCHEDULED FOR APRIL, 1998
Maxam management announced today that production will commence after the first quarter of 1998.
Factors influencing this decision include:
1.)Data from recent drill samples continue to be received. 2.)Recent in-house improvements in the leaching process, by Max Cooley and his team, will provide for greater efficiencies in recovery of most elements. Results of the Geophysical Survey have pinpointed numerous potential high anomalies. Further examination of these areas by surface sample and drilling will improve start-up ore grade control. 3.)Adequate time for Frank X. McGarvey and his associates, to enhance the design of the recovery and Ion-Exchange collection system. The system is being designed in two phases: Phase I---Gold, Silver, Platinum Group Metals, Rare Earth elements (combined), Iron, Copper, Zinc, Nickel, and extraction of the twelve environmentally unfriendly elements ("The Dirty Dozen" [Arsenic, Antimony, Barium, Beryllium, Cadmium, Chromium, Lead, Mercury, Nickel, Selenium, Silver, and Thallium]). Phase II---Expansion to include approximately twenty additional recoverable elements. 5.)Provide adequate time to complete negotiations for marketing of Rare Earth elements; Gallium; and, trace minerals to be used in fertilizer production. And I add #6....Maxamgold AGM is scheduled for Spring 1998. I bet they schedule the AGM ..after PRODUCTION!!! ChucaDirtydozen/messy#sixwith a little bag of concentrate -this time GOLD!(&???) |
