Many continue to complain about the growing difference in income between rich and poor in America and want the government to do something about it. But voters still think that’s a bad idea.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 31% of Likely U.S. Voters believe more government involvement in the economy will do more to close the income gap. Nearly twice as many (58%), however, say less government involvement in the economy is the better way to close that gap. Eleven percent (11%) are not sure.
