Well, I don't know much about, e.g., dendroclimatology or ice cores. But I do know something about statistics, and as it turns out, that's where much of the problem is found. And it is a single point of failure for the analytical processes. So, in that sense, I do have significant knowledge of the relevant subject matter. Which is more than you, CJ, or Wharfrat have. Apparently.

As to why I care? Because it is yet another fiscal threat the Left has dumped on the country.

Other countries commitments are driven be the same nonsense ours is. There is political power involved. Some may be acting out of ignorance. But they stand to gain US dollars. They'll say anything.
