Riley, I thought that you were a bit more seasoned than this. I thought wrong.

Why is it you act like shorting is illegal and/or unethical? Granted, certain kinds are, but you're not limiting your comments to those types.

Shorting is no more evil or unethical than buying puts. Actually, it's my opinion that it's also no more evil or unethical than being long or buying calls. All of this is gambling, so why is it evil to bet that a price will go down when it's not evil to bet it'll go up?

I take it you never play roulette. Betting on black is the same thing as betting that it won't be red.

Before you throw all your rhetoric at me, keep in mind I've already seen it. You maintain that a certain type of shorting is happening with this stock, but, Riley, that doesn't make *all* shorting illegal or unethical.

BTW, I see that you dug clear back to August to find that post by Mike. Aren't you putting an awful lot of effort into attacking that particular messenger?

That particular messenger has saved a ton of money from being taken from the pockets of people seasoned enough to listen to him, whether they agree with him or not. I'm one of them.

I don't happen to agree with you, but I listen to you. I've been around long enough to know that if someone disagrees with me, it's not inconceivable that they're right and I'm wrong.

And to ignore those people, or to take seriously someone's over-worked attacks on those people, is fiscal foolishness in the extreme.
