BTW, did you happen to look at an MHMY chart?
Mike didn't advise anyone to short the stock, much less "telling other to short a stock" as you maintain, however if anyone decided to short the stock, they'd be sitting pretty right now, as MHMY started tanking around that time. It was over $6 per share and is now $4 per share. Personally, I don't have a problem with a 50% gain. And if it drops another buck, it'd be a 100% gain.
My point is, in your eagerness to "attack the messenger", you've inadvertently added greatly to Mike's credibility. If he shorted MYMY on August 20th, he made an excellent call.
If you'd like to attack his credibility, you may want to handle it as one *should* handle one's portfolio, by doing a little more "DD" than simply reading a message. Mike has been wrong in the past (even though he's been right, in my experience, 90% of the time) and if you want to portray him as someone an investor should ignore, you'd be better off finding a time he was wrong.
