Greetings Shalom; Gettin back to a continuation of my posting to you about the Rapture, in 2 Thess 2:6, Paul says that something was holding sin back and that the man of sin would not be revealed until that restraint was moved. The only thing that is holding sin back is Holy Spirit, and he has indwelt the church since Pentacost. It would be impossible for the restraint to be removed without removing the Church. In a word, the rapture of the church has to occur before the man of sin will be revealed.
In a previous post you talk about several of your positions and I want to bring them forward here.
You say we are already in the tribulation.
You say that I teach people to sit on their salvation.
You also say that 4-5 trumps have already sounded, and that the sixth trumpet will occur any time.
I suggest that we are not in the tribulation of the final days.
I do not teach people to sit on their salvation, but encourage all that we must live by the power of Holy Spirit and not depend on our own works to live a fullness of the Christian life.
I mightily suggest to you that we are not in the period you state. Read again what must happen in Revelation and then state again that 4-5 trumps have already sounded!
This teaching, along with your food laws that you bring up from time to time also suggests to me that this is similiar to Seventh Day Adventist beliefs.
I am happy with my belief of the blessed rapture and can assure you that I do not expect 100 pound hailstones will fall on me as I will be attending the marriage supper of my Lord.
