I see DDR4 RAM routinely selling for $0.50/GB on sale these days. Don't see enough of a performance gain in Skylake processor to build a new rig though... Saving my money for a new graphics card and Oculus. Very disappointed by the $599 price on the VR gear, then $300 for the card. AMD R9 290s had reached close to $200 a while back, those cards appear to have been discontinued. And the R9 390s all start around $300... Bought a cardboard setup for my Nexus smartphone. It has whetted my appetite for real VR...
