MSFT price March 2 ship's lottery entrants so far: Harry S: $152 Justin B: $115 Keith H: $110 Doug F: $108 Chaz H: $100 Mike I: $90 Ken M: $60 Jerry L: $0! (Well, Jerry holds the low ground now...:) Rules: Case of beer of your choice, under $100, to the winner. The winner will predict the closest to actual March 2 1998 closing price. Chaz is buying the case and you all are helping with execution of the delivery. Unless he wins, in which case you will all just have to get along and figure out how to get it done ;-) As to Red Hook: Geez. Sorry!!! Maybe I'm thinking of Red Dog? As to O'Douls. I actually drink this stuff, 'cause I sometimes frequent an ancient bar founded by San Francisco Seal Lefty O'Doul, where they serve a lot of it. Don't know if the name is a connection. (O'Douls is closing or moving soon. Apparently rent around Union Square for a place like that is up to 50,000 a month now.) However, as in the real stock market, the winner gets paid and the rest of us get bupkiss. How come only one MSFT booster is willing to guess at a nice positive price? Not beer drinkers, fellas? I admit this is a mugs game, but what's to lose? Less than normally, if you're wrong. Though some guys would rather lose a million in private than get a smudge on them in public ;-) Dan S? Eugene K? (was that a bid I heard to Dan, or a price support level??? Li Cai?
