Pat Yahoo's (Reuters 12/24) article re-reports good & bad news It relieves urgencies for both AAPL's CEO placement and a immediate return to profitability . Reuters accepts AAPL may break even in 1Q , then quoting analysts , it suggests sales are weak and a inventory problem exists . Now Comp. Intelligence reports Mac's loss to Gateway : infoseek.com Amelio was nailed at MacWorld last year for this and the Reuters article warns competition will be on-site at MacWorld. Hopefully AAPL can counter this or it may become Jobs' annual meeting issue . Regards, Jim K.
