The point is climate changes and there isn't a damned thing we can do about it. It is silly to believe that humans are making it change. All the talk about when it changes, whether it changes, and how much, is pretty much statistically irrelevant. And without a lot of tinkering, it is statistically insignificant.

Our measurement capability just isn't good enough to make that determination. Tree rings, ice cores, even satellite data are not enough when people cannot even agree over such fundamental aspects as the MWP and what has happened over the last 18 years.

We are nowhere near being able to make a meaningful determination about what has or has not happened.
