The kids have existential dangers coming at them from all directions. Worldwide plutocratic Tyranny not the least of them. 66 people have as much wealth as the bottom 3.5 billion. That is an equation that says the more concentrated power, the more tyranny. Modern civilization is based on well-functioning republics. As the plutocrats tighten their control over the world only democracy is powerful enough to confront that power; and a well-functioning democracy is dependent upon an educated populace.
