Obamacare has a lot of work to do but it cannot get done as long as Republicans hold onto to at least one of the three branches in DC. It should say a lot about Louisiana when the folks in that state scrambled to get onto Obamacare the day Bobby Jindal left the Governorship.

And not just me, but many in the world do not understand America's fascination with guns. The 2nd Amendment is an antiquated law, crafted in the days when white settlers could be pounced on the American Indian groups. That does not happen these days of the era of the Internet where news travel very fast. People are peaceful these days and it does not require millions to own guns to control a few ruffians. In spite of people owning guns, criminals get their way anyway. Besides, what is wrong with a background check. Private employers do a background check of prospective employees anyway.

On the economy. the Democrats, true to their reputation restored the economy where the dollar is riding high, gas is at rock bottom and there is no talk of "Drill baby drill."

Missing from the White House race: the economy

Happy Sunday watching the NFL. Sorry to see Steelers lose. Being a Bostonian, my teams is and has always been the Patriots. (I don't think they deflate balls :))
