History classes provide context. So the history classes will be teaching the state of the union in 08. The fact the Democrats held both houses of Congress. The mood of the country translating into potential energy for the presidency and Democrats. Much of which went wasted through a year of dithering. The theme that was being run on. The major problem of the day, the worldwide financial crisis and how it was caused and who was responsible, the Plutocrats, corporations, big banks and Wall Street.
