I'll accept the notion that Sun's OS is superior to Microsoft's NT and I welcome their movement into Intel hardware with Merced.

Question: Is there a practical and economical way today to buy a Sun system and get the word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail and browser software for it, for the home market, at a price of $3000 or less?

If not, when (if ever) do you think that will become a reality?
