I just finished reading commentary from Helene Meisler from behind a paid site. Same stuff being said is elsewhere but more quantification. She stll says bear - on broad mkt it is. Fair. She says still very oversold intermediate basis and short term with her metrics not flipping until early Feb for some metrics and early Mar on others. Several of her metrics had higher lows vs stock prices in this last move (positive divergence). Many had lower lows with price. She assumes by end of rally that many bears will throw in towel and that those selling the rally (new modus operandi out there) will get hurt and then we go down again. She figures we are 1 year into a bear mkt with most lasting 1-2 years with the real meat at 1 1/2 years. Jon
