I have a center field idea for you. The Mets developed, Matt den Dekker, a player our of the University of Florida. About 2-3 years ago, he had won the CF job, but broke his wrist in spring training, and Juan Lagares took over. After that, he was up and down several times and struggled initially so never really got most of the fans behind him. Finally, things were beginning to look good when he hit over .300 for August- Sept. '14 (.396 OBP) while raising his average from sub-Mendoza to .250. The Mets signed Cuddyer though, and Matt was history as they traded him away to the Nationals. In Washington, he pretty much just sat on the bench behind Span and Taylor, hardly playing at all for a couple of months before being sent back to Triple A for awhile. He was called up again in September when he went on a rampage for a couple of weeks to get his numbers back to mediocre.
Anyway, this guy hustles all the time, has speed and is a great fielder. The knock on him was a lack of power, but he hit a few homers in his brief time last year. I don't think the Nationals will have room for him anymore (Revere signing), so he should come cheap, if not free. Here's a famous College World Series clip:
