Veterans Bust Palin For Lying About Her Son’s PTSD: He Never Saw Combat!
Former vice-presidential candidate and Tea Party ayatollah Sarah Palin made headlines with her return to the political realm when she announced her endorsement of Republican frontrunner Donald Trump, promptly embarking on one of her trademark stream-of-consciousness rants next to her obviously uncomfortable patron. During this “speech,” she heavily implied that her son Track was suffering from combat-induced post-traumatic stress disorder from his deployment to Iraq, and that it was President Obama’s “disrespect” for the troops that somehow prompted him to beat his girlfriend in a drunken rage.
My son, like so many others, they come back a bit different. They come back hardened. They come back wondering if there is that respect for what it is that their fellow soldiers and airmen and every other member of the military so sacrificially have given to this country, and that starts from the top. It’s a shame that our military personnel even have to wonder, if they have to question if they’re respected anymore. … The question, though, that comes from our own president where they have to look at him and wonder, ‘Do you know what we go through? Do you know what we’re trying to do to secure America and to secure the freedoms that have been bequeathed us?’ [sic]
However, it isn’t clear that Track Palin ever saw combat. Twitter has unearthed Track Palin’s discharge papers, which are lacking a combat infantry badge – and in fact are absent of any combat decorations, which raises some questions about how one could be deployed with a unit known as the Arctic Wolves and never see a firefight. Since the day Sarah Palin had the audacity to pretend her son had PTSD in order to blame President Obama for her sons criminal actions,OccupyDemocrats has received messages from combat veterans giving their opinion on the matter – and social media has given their two cents as well:

What I (and other combat vets) don’t get is that he spent a year there, was infantry, in a Stryker brigade, and he received ZERO combat decorations? Discussions were about how he was a candidate’s son and nobody wanted anything to happen to him. – Jonathan Shea
That Track Palin kid. They probably gave him special treatment because of who his mother is. – Stephen Childers |
