I just watched Nina Turner State Sen. from Ohio who was Minority Whip. I want her to run for president. She said it perfectly, I don't want to hear this talk about incremental improvements. She said if the African-American had waited on incremental improvements, she would probably be working as a housemaid instead of being in the state Senate. And she was directly addressing Hillary's constant drumbeat about incremental improvements.

I would add, there was certainly nothing incremental about what FDR did, or TR for that matter.

The conversation had to do with her switching from Hillary Clinton to Bernie Sanders. She was powerfully intelligent and right on the money. She was really upset about the fact that the Hillary's campaign was trying to convince people that Bernie's desire for big changes, like busting up the banks, bringing the plutocrats under control ,single-payer universal healthcare and other major changes like a $15 minimum wage, etc. was naïve and a bad path to take ;and she was really upset about the Clinton campaign trying to imply that Bernie's desire for a revolution in these matters was dissing Obama and what he did. That is underhanded and not worthy of a good Democrat.

And I sure agree with her on all of that.

And she was followed by a professor Nelson who said that Bernie Sanders when he took over as mayor of Burlington brought in brilliant people and transformed it into a completely different and wonderful city. And it was his intelligence and picking the right people that did it and his ability to get things done which everyone says he can't do, but from what I read has been doing quite successfully in the Senate.

So now I'm back to thinking I should vote for Bernie if I think he can win. Those two testimonials by people that knew him well comport with every speech I've ever heard Bernie give i.e smart and convincing.

Anyway, I was really impressed with what both of them had to say. And gratified to hear it
