This would seem to contradict the speculation that Hedge funds are keeping the price up to boost their year end performance -- wouldn't it?

Peter, wouldn't it actually support the argument? How else to nudge the price higher but to buy some (unless, of course, we think the MMs are price fixing this one at the same time they are settling a class action for hundreds of millions for doing the same in the past)?

BTW, how does Market Guide compile this data? Do they get data from "institutions" or MMs, or do they somehow estimate it? What qualifies as an "institution"? Is it really holdings as of 12/25 (seems awful fast) or is it simply published that day?
