| | | Isaac, you really need to get some new material. We're all well aware of your burning obsession and hatred for Apple, and have been for years now. We get it. Conversely, we know Google can do no evil (heh) and produces the best products on the planet in your eyes. They'll soon be passing Apple's market cap as well, yet another Google "victory" for you.
Well, the great thing about stock market investing is that you don't have to make a choice, you can buy into both. As a seemingly intelligent, successful Bay Area Google (now Alphabet) employee and software developer, you must know that. (Click the About box to the lower right of the photo on his Google+ page). One who's worth millions and owns at least three Teslas as a result of his investments. (Note: No Teslas are shown in your main photo. Why not? If I owned one I would have a photo of it.)
What I'm curious about is why you hate Apple so much. Do you think it would be a good thing if Android were the only smartphone OS available, and only Android phones were on the market? That Google had no competition? Are there any markets or products for which that's true? I don't think so, and you know all the reasons why.
Is the reason you hate Apple similar to zax's, you got screwed over by them somehow in the past as a developer? While I can't find zax's post regarding that and I've never read it, others have informed me that is the case. For him it was back in the Apple II days, if memory serves. He chose to support Windows and Microsoft after that – obvious to anyone who's read his posts on the Apple Tankwatch thread he created.
Or...is it simply because you're a garden variety Internet troll, a keyboard warrior who gets his jollies being belligerent online, trying to goad others into responding to your antics. I'll admit, I've certainly gotten hooked by you before and responded in kind. How's that for honesty? Road Walker must be right, trolling is an emotional release for you, a character you've created as an outlet for the stress in your life. You may not even really hate Apple and own (or have owned) some of their products. You just like to have a lot of twisted fun online, likely as a result of having poor self-esteem and feelings of inadequacy.
I'm guessing it's a combination, one of the first two things and the trolling. But perhaps it's something else altogether.
I used to be really entertained by your posts. I couldn't believe someone would spend so much time doing what you do. Funny, clever, sometimes even insightful. You've become so repetitive and boring though, the same thing over and over, going on years now. Where's the old sylvester80? The one who could offer up intelligent thoughts about Google, Apple, other stocks, the markets, etc.
