The evolution toward driverless vehicles will take a long time and will come in steps solving issues along the way.

I doubt those middle aged or older today will be greatly affected, but those that are very young will likely see drastic changes with transportation in their lifetime.

As for potential EMP disasters, all transportation electronics could be and should be Radiation-Hardened to shield from the affects.

BTW -- Great Car and everyone should own a convertible at least once in their life!
