"Is there any truth to this and what is Oracle trying to accomplish by advertising somehting it does not have available?" If you read the recent biography of Larry Ellison and Oracle you can see very clearly that Oracle has always sold ideas that weren't there yet in order to obtain market share. It has been a very radical aggressive and yet very successful strategy.
