Rod, Last April I sermised that AMD would be dead money through Oct 97. I shifted into AMD notes paying 11.5%. Now I have had to push the dead money senerio out to at least July for now. I'm monitoring as close as I can. When it does turn it will pop pretty good. For now patience is the game. In fact Intel may signal AMD Pop, which is why I keep half an eye on Intel. AMD goes up faster when Intel does. But because you can get close to 4shrs. of AMD for each share of Intel I like the leverage AMD offers. I'm also a dog fan. True American's love an underdog. So I get more pleasure from AMD taking a byte out of Intel than Intel taking a byte out of AMD. Intel has done well and will continue to do well. I even have respect for Grove and his contributions to the semi world. Having said that it takes a special talent to get up every day knowing you have to go out and fetch your keep in "the giants" territory. Sanders has been doing it for over 25 years. That longer then Tommy Lasorda managed the Dodgers. And just like tommy sometimes he gets on a winning streak and sometimes he gets on a loosing streak. The object is to bet him when he on a winning streak. And lay off on a loosing streak but remain a fan. So that is why from time to time I we defend him. This year I got a new BMW 535I out of watching plus my AMD bonds and more. That more then I ever got from watching the Dodgers win. Team AMD has potential next year how does Team Intel look. Spring training is right around the corner.
