Zeev, your scenario for a Korean contraction in Semi is not inconsistent with my view of their deliberate and accelerated shift to 0.25 nm geometry products. Fewer, but more competitive product is key to their maintaining market presence. Intel has accelerated by three-to-six months their move to 0.25 nm P2 and is in a dead heat in the race with AMD's K6 to get 0.25 nm product out first. Message 3043126 It is not unrealistic to expect a similar race between Samsung and Micron Tech and others in Hong Kong and SEA to be first to market with 0.25 nm DRAM product. If Samsung withdraws from the race they're gone for good as a player in that market, and I don't believe for a second that Korea's govt would let that happen. So I see DUV tools a priority import to Korea ranking right up there with oil and food. Tulvio
