You need to re-read the content in the links in my prior posts.

Given the potential that their genetically modified mosquitoes are the proximate CAUSE of the rapid expansion of the outbreak... I might consider them more of a short candidate, base on their obvious, huge, and uncontrollable liability risks, than a potential long candidate as a beneficiary...

ZIKA has been around a long time... but never became a significant risk... until they did their thing with the GMO tinkering ?

FWIW... I probably have unique insight... a bio degree with a focus in genetics... and a lot of hands on field work with mosquito populations. The probability that the genetic tinkering is the direct source of the problem... seems a lot higher to me than any other potential explanation.
