Here is what the market looked like in March of 2009 on the NYSE and the Nasdaq on the daily charts as the market bottomed:





I will show the charts and information from the October 2002 bottom this evening. In addition from now on I will endeavor to post the closing numbers from the WSJ each night after the close as it becomes available. It is far more accurate than the Yahoo data.

But first I am going to post current charts of the NYSE and Nasdaq in the next post. Look at the volume my friends. Was Friday a higher volume upside day than the downside volume the day before it?
