Mike,

Plain and simple - it has come too far, too fast.

Earnings are expected to be $1 in a traditionally strong quarter. So say we end
up with $3.50 for the year we have an 18-20 p/e on an extremely mature
co. with a 31% market share (I think anyway). Where can they grow?
What will drive earnings? What happens on Nov 13 when the FED meets
and Bill is safely reelected?

CPQ and DELL, amongst others, are fully (if not over) valued. A short position
may hurt for a while but I look at it as an opportunity to short more. I did DELL at 84, 85
and 87. I was getting nervous mind you. I wanted it to turn back, and fast.

You want overvalued take a look at TeeComm (TENXF or TEN) on the TSE.

2nd quarter revenues: 4.2 million (half of last year)
2nd quarter net income: -3.3 million (4 times last year)

Loss per share in Q1 96 = 13 cents
Loss per share in Q2 96 = 13 cents

And if that aint bad enough a recent release (Sept 17th) announced
they were lowering prices on their satellite dishes. Do you think this
will help the revenue/income problem?

25 million shares "worth" $10 US or $13 CDN ......

Take it easy all,

JEV
