If it was as socialistic as you claim, it would be an outlier and not the rule. By far. Take just about any school district in Oklahoma. At one point, legislators in Oklahoma wanted to require that creationism and evolution get equal time in the classroom. That is, until someone pointed out that would require most Oklahoma schools to teach evolution...
