Actually I have some sell orders on some puts that may just get triggered if your fear is realized.

I do thinnk that the acquisition of Bio Storage is substantial and will add stability to their earnings.

The semi equipment cycle is so cyclical that fortress balance sheets have been a necessity for over a decade or two.

The companies that have become niche leaders now have their territory made - unless they get acquired by Amat or Lrcx.

It is now time to branch out and grow revenue with consistency in mind.

For Brooks it is transfering their Cryogenics and robots technology to the life sciences.

For Cohu it is vertically going after consumables (margins in the 60n % @ cscd) Wafer Level Packaging.

Both will do well with their global foot print service capabilities.

Buying brks during this transition is a wonderful timing event IMO.

The life sciences will grow quite nicely and there will be peaks and valleys with the semi business.

Both companies are going after stable growth and they both enjoy higher margins than the semi business.

Both pay a nice dividend and both will be doubles a s their long term growth goals are achieved.

Brooks at 8 is a 5% dividend yield !!!

Long term buy and hold.

Bob
