Windows update settings with Win-10 and older Win versions.

I like options 2 and 3 simply because I like to oversee all updates as they are done.

These settings can be changed easily in the Control Panel for users of older Win versions and are particularly useful if someone doesn't want an upgrade to Windows 10.

As you stated, users who run Windows 10, no longer have these Control Panel options, however I found another web-forum also discussing using the Windows 10 Registry to manually change the settings without Control Panel.
