I keep thinking in terms was the Chinese boom beneficial (overall for all the world) or was it negative?

I always here the term creative destruction of capital on the back side of a boom, innovation and higher living standards. Seems we have more and more asset bubbles with steep trajectories both up and down of late that only get worse with time,,,
