I have 8 distinct varieties of chili that I make, but usually only 5 at one time (I carry over 2-3 from previous season, but otherwise change the lineup for each game and the crowd on-hand) as that is my capacity in terms of burners, etc., and while there is a distinctness about each, they do tend to be sub regional variations on what one would find in Mexico, or NM, or AZ, CA (but also TJ and Rosarito Baja variations) and TX/TXMex with a wild card from upper Great Lakes where winters are long and chili caught fire some generations ago from unknown origins...
