I don't pay much attention to TA anymore -- just looking at a chart with volume bars seems to do as much for me. I do use Worden TC 2000 for the charts (cheap) now but only update every week or so. Also I have Trade Station (Omega) for real time, but don't often get to sit in front of the screen (day job, you know). It's excellent but expensive. Since you teach Criminology (and they call Economics a dismal science! <g>) you might enjoy posting and getting away from tech stocks for a change on the "Lets talk about our feelings thread", also on SI. I love to ventilate there! Also, do you have a reference for your Twain quote? "If the only tool you have is a hammer, everything begins to look like a nail." I have always loved aphorisms (the French have some great ones), but I thought the hammer one was from Psychologist Abraham Maslow. But I am digging that out of some remote area of my brain, and it may well not be reliable. Jack
