I am guessing but my reading between the line says that this means 'All applications and data are stored on a network managed by your IS department or your systems administrator'.

What I find interesting is this statement: 'In addition to being able to use all your existing hardware...', Are they talking about my PC, hard drives and all? I think they might sell me on the idea if they had said. 'In addition to being able to use all your existing software..'.
