Paul:
No I am not upset. This was just a case of the "tail
wagging the dog".I didnt know that much about Computers several
years ago. After buying the Computer I started reading about
them. I got caught up with the rest and had to buy a Computer
instead of reading about it first. I believe it was in "Tips and
Hints that I read about the fact that a lot of people were upset
that Intel deliberately produced a "crippled" processor and
"crippled" was the word used by the article.I just learn by my
mistakes. If I decide to go to the Store late in the Evening and
when I get there it has been closed for 10 minutes I dont blame
the Manger for closing on time and try to get in. Duh maybe you
arent one that feels that way.

My son in Law told me he had a friend that was thinking about
buying a Computer a few weeks ago.I told him to check with me
first or my Son who is in his Junior year in College majoring in
Computer Information Systems. He told me yesterday the guy bought
a Packard Bell at Office Max.I told him I Bet he didnt get the
Best Deal. I know another guy who when I first talked to him he
didnt even know he couldnt get on the Internet with 2 Megs of
Memory and now builds his own Computers.

My point was that you cant trust the Salesmen or the Manufacturers
etc and that some people are going to listen and become
knowledgeable etc. and some people are going to take the opposite
extreme and then some people are going to become an Apologist for
Intel and Duh try to belittle others who dont believe the same
way.The point is that Intel should never have made the SX and no
there is no demand for them. When is the last time you saw a SX
advertised?Either Intel was not "forward looking" or they were just
trying to "rip people off". Your choice. How many people do you
know that when they go out and buy a Major appliance they are going
to consult Consumer Reports and read up on the Technical aspects
etc.
