Cruz is a "natural born" loser, despised by all in this own party and unelectable in the general. Although he is guaranteed to be challenged in his eligibility to be president if he were to win the GOP primary, and has a very poor case for being "natural born" citizen, I agree, the point is largely moot because Cruz is too extreme to even get the nod of GOP primary voters.
