Nucky, that's only true if it's the 'friend in common' saying it. But you said it, so your comment above is false.

Tell me, if G doesn't know who you are, how can he know if the 'friend in common' is even an acquaintance of yours?

You have to assume that G knows you in order to make that statement. You were just careless and made a slip, a blunder. I'm sure you do know G but he can't know that you know him if he doesn't know who you are. But because of your obvious slip, we can pretty safely assume that he's met you (without him knowing that you're bob greenfield).

You've never stated anywhere that you're anyone other than bob greenfield, have you? Of course not! But bob greenfield is a fictitious name for you. It's not your true name. So nobody that you don't tell in person, can know who you really are.

Of course what all this REALLY means is that you're just a liar.
