What's "unfair" about it? That anyone can just come into the scene, claim to be against the "establishment," and gain tremendous grassroots support as a result? That one can go on the stump, trash entire sectors of the economic apparatus without nuance and promise things like single payer, free education, bank breakups, and the like as if the political landscape permitted such things. It's akin to some republicans promising mass deportations, vanquishing of ISIS, border walls that neighbors pay for, and so on. It's fantasy land on both sides.... Al
