Yeah, I agree. ALL the sentiment indicators seem to work for awhile then..... they become well known just like simple calculations of 9:1 volume or even BP changes.

What I've found works better is looking at the second derivative of sentiment as most can barely read a chart and that extra factor adds another level of separation.

I don't think ANYONE can call tops... those that do usually keep repeating until they are eventually right but if you check their long term record, they almost ALL under perform.

Bottoms are easier because the "crooked system which nobody has anything better" requires asset inflation and long term seeing the market go up. That means even if you call a bottom too early, eventually you will be rewarded as long as you don't sell lower and never get back in.
