Hello Sully. Yes, I just got tired of all the hand wringing self pity by those on the Ihub board who are infinitely negative. At least here the discussion isn't centered on the day to day share price which is quite separate and of minimal importance compared to the progress that is being made by the company in bringing the products to market. We now know that Ponatinib is no more toxic than the second line drugs BUT significantly more effective which should result eventually in Ponatinib being the DOC in second line treatment as some of us always expected. 113 is approaching approval and is clearly the BIC med for its indication. Throw in 788 which may be a blockbuster and I think that those who consider Ariad's best days as being in the past are delusional. We can't do much about the bear market but like every other bear market, it will end after fear is replaced by rational thought. And I have to laugh at those who claim that biotech is tanking because politicians are making noise as they always do before an election about the pricing of life saving meds. Perhaps the public would prefer to not having the biopharmas go forward on spending the billions necessary to bring the one in a hundred drugs to market which enable those with cancer and every other affliction known to man to have hope for a better future. Yes, biotechs and Ariad have taken a recent 40 percent hit. But that has everything to do with money being transferred out of perceived "risky" investments which will inevitably end as rationality returns to the markets. Thankfully here the discussion is centered around the science as it should be. Ihub's Ariad board has become just a slightly more civilized version of Yahoo. Enjoy the nice weather down there Sully and don't be a stranger here.
