What does any of this have to do with political philosophy?

That might be relevant if I was calling for government punishment of Apple.

Introducing a "feature" like this without warning is seriously shoddy of Apple.

As for not buying an iPhone. I don't own one or plan to buy one, but I do use one (employer provided). Its not a model that would be affected by this (Its a 5c, doesn't have the sensors in question).
