Bill & Ol 49'er,

this looks like an interesting development. As Bill has mentioned BHP would have the very large mineral sand deposits in NW Victoria (Australia) in mind as one application for this jig. A centrifugal jig has been developed in Australia, and has been on the market for several years - I don't know if it has been tested on the Victorian heavy mineral sands - which are fine grained, and which can not be economically recovered at present, although the grades are high and the deposits are very large.

The centrifugal jig manufactured in Australia is known as the "Kelsey Jig".
